Rebel 56

Rebel is a juried arts and literary magazine that showcases the creative spirits of East Carolina University. During the 2013–2014 school year, I was hired to serve as editor for it's 56th edition. I hired an assistant editor and two designers to help with the creation of this 186-page publication. The 56th edition was inspired by the blossoming of travel in the 1920's.

Some of my Editor duties consisted of organizing a Call for Entries, organizing a panel of judges, transportation of winning pieces to a photo studio, art direction of the winner’s photography. Along the way, I designed and directed the creation of supporting graphics and assets as we prepared to dive into the publication design.
